Standard High School Diploma Graduation Requirements
GPA
Students must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA or above to graduate with a standard high school diploma. Grades are very important in high school and students start their high school GPA as soon as they take their first high school course.

State Assessments
Students must pass the following statewide assessments to graduate with a standard high school diploma:
- Grade 10 FSA ELA (Level 3 or higher) or earn a concordant score through ACT or SAT
- ACT English and Reading Concordant:
- 18 for students who entered grade 9 in school year 2010-2011 and beyond
- 19 only for students who entered grade 9 prior to 2018-2019 school year
- SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing Concordant:
- 480 for students who entered grade 9 in school year 2010-2011 and beyond
- 430 only for students who entered grade 9 prior to 2018-2019 school year
- 24 SAT Reading Subtest only for students who entered grade 9 prior to 2018-2019 school year
- 480 for students who entered grade 9 in school year 2010-2011 and beyond
- ACT English and Reading Concordant:
- Algebra I end-of-course (EOC) (Level 3 or higher) or comparative scores on PSAT, SAT, ACT, or FSA Geometry
- PSAT/NMSQT Math - 430
- SAT Math - 420
- ACT Math - 16
- FSA Geometry EOC - 499
- PERT Math - 97, option only available for students who entered grade 9 prior to 2018-2019
- PSAT/NMSQT Math - 430
Online Requirement
Students must successfully complete one full-length online course to graduate with a standard 24 credit high school diploma. Students can meet this requirement by successfully completing American Government at REL or completing a course through FLVS. Instructions for creating a student account on FLVS can be found here. Do not sign up for 'credit recovery' courses; Duval County cannot award credit for credit recovery courses on FLVS. School counselors only approve/deny courses and print grades for FLVS.
